Hey Jack, I’ve been watching your show on youtube..so fun! You have great charisma and inspire one to do the impossible! Keep it up! By the way, are you vegan, vegetarian or a raw foodist?
I am really looking forward to this starting up! Jack knew back then what we are still learning now, and he tried to share it with us back then! Thanks for not stopping, Jack!
Just when I felt like there was not much to be happy about what I see going on…up pops a name…a name that was very much a part of my young life…Jack Lalanne!
I watched the show every week and loved his uplifting and encouraging way. And today I have felt that again.
I am an avid exerciser, if that is the right word. I walk 5 miles a day and have done so for about 25+ years and I know that at the age of 58 what is like to feel like I am 19!
What I have not found over the years is a workout that feels so right as the one I have just “rediscovered” in these old videos. NOW I can get to getting in just a little bit better shape in terms of being firmer. Something I have struggled with. Just because the excercises are so basic and SO GOOD. But the best part is listening to Jack He just makes you happy…you can not help yourself! And that he is so quick to give glory to God and America.
Thanks Jack! Thanks for the memory and all the new ones to come!
God Bless you!
Mr. Lalane, I am a disabled Marine who would like to tell you that you inspire me. Thank you for your fitness and health teachings and leadership by example. Because of you I do not quit and now have realized that by using my own water therapy that I can get back into some type of better condition. I can tell you this – I often think of you when I feel like this is going nowhere. It keeps me going to the next level. Semper Fidelis! dionisios
Jack: My wife and I were in Morro Bay in December 2008 and I think I did that same pose in front of Morro rock! As a kid growing up in Oxnard in the 1960s, I’d exercise along with your show sometimes. I liked your show and I liked you. Thank you for your unmatched enthusiasm, attitude, and your lifelong inspiration. Your constant encouragement has really helped my family eat better and exercise more. I especially thank you for working so hard to get out the truth about health and fitness. Rarely does one ever hear the truth. I guess even as a kid I could see you were trying to show us what would really help us. Even though the corporations spend billions advertising their aisles full of candy, cigarettes, soda, potato chips, cheeses, hotdogs and other junk that fill the markets, your voice, the truth, stands high above them.
JACK, I JUST RECENTLY ORDERED ONE OF YOUR JUICERS. I USE TO WATCH YOU BACK IN THE FIFTIES AND SIXTIES YOU WERE MY HERO. I WAS JUST WONDERING IF YOU HAD EVER OWNED OR OPERATED A FITTNESS CENTER IN PLAINVIEW LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK. IF YOU COULD E-MAIL ME @ ALWALLACETREE@AOL.COM OR CALL ME @ 352-817-6168. I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT. THANK YOU! WALLACE
Im really looking forward to see and hearing from you again you taught my generation more than just to exercise. I remember talks on patroitism, serve to country family life and many more i didnt relize where some of my ideals came from til i started watch the show again on utube Thanks again
Hello Jack, I have been working in health clubs for twenty years and finally bought one of my own two years ago. Unfortunately, the unexpected stress of running a business and the subsequent loss of my club when the market crashed last year played havoc on my body. I gained forty pounds That behind me, I am back to working out and getting my life back together and would like to ask one favor from you; I’ve read you take 30-40 supplements a day. Will you please let me know what they are and what quantity to consume and what time of day to consume them? I would be very thankful. I am at 240 lbs now and should be at 190. I am starting a blog for those interested in following my progress, and it would be great if I could stand on the shoulders of the great fitness giant, Mr. Jack LaLanne! I won’t let you down!
love my juicer i got for my birthday july 20th 2009 first juice i made because that was the fruit i had on hand was peaches-blueberries-raspberries. so far that has been our fav!!!
i have used it everyday, it has only been 7 days, but love it. i also made fruit leather out of pulp, that was also good.
jack lalanne, we know your old friend ralph greer, he will be 90 in sept. he would love to hear from you. i think you worked out with him at gold’s gym when he first started it, & you fished togther.
I’m 42 years old and you’ve been an inspiration to me from when I was just a kid and now I can’t believe how great you still look at 94 years young ! I can only hope to look like you when I’m your age, I have a goal to be 100 and to look better when I’m 50 then I am now. I was hoping to meet you one day if that would be possible, let me know.
Hi Jack,
I am 49 years old and I used to watch you when I was 8. I thought you were the cutest thing..you still are. These days it seems that it is hard to find simple excercises that focus on the whole body. For the last two years I have been trying to get into shape but I over do it and end up in physical therapy. I have a tread mill, rowing machine and just got an excercise bike but all that won’t do me any good without the basic exercises you have developed ages ago. I am going to find your books and study them to get it right without ending up in physical therapy…maybe someday I can run again like I did when I was 23 without pain! Thanks for your dedication and your wonderful spirit!!!
Michele,
Thank you for taking the time to write to Jack. He was honored that you thought of him. Maybe you would like to check out his books and exercise DVD’s on our website, under the store!
I am 55 and remember watching your shows and doing the exercises when I was a kid. I should have kept it up as I’m not in the best shape anymore. You were always an inspiration to me and still are.
I read that you had heart valve surgery. I had the same in 2002 and again (same valve) in 2003.
I hope to see you on TV again after you recover from surgery.
Jack , I remember the first time I saw you .I was building a fort with pillows & blankets & the chesterfield in the living room where our new t.v. was . Mom had her kitchen chair and was waiting for your show to come on . I can still hear your voice , it was 1958 I was 4 . I lost my way as I grew ,drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, sugar, junk food.I learned about addiction on many levels. I walked into a kickboxing gym in1979 in edmonton Alberta and never looked back .I have my own gym in my basement now . When I watch your shows now I am amazed at the insight you had then . Our children need to be taught and or be made to watch you . It should be required learning in our schools from grade 1 on , so they have a chance at life . Knowledge is power and I see to many kids following the bad habits of adults that don’t care.I never realized how processed food had addictive qualities about it. Also convenience is killing us. If someone out there has the know how to promote this man “JACK” I am open to ideas. The children are in trouble actually alot of us are in trouble .I see your life Jack not as one that sought money and power but one that promoted, helped ,encouraged ,nurtured, empowered just Dam amazing . It’s not easy being dedicated to hard work .You are a BLESSING JACK LALANNE. We have lost our way and the youth are following . Eric…
I have heard of you and saw you on TV a few times. I am 53 years old and have worked out with weights or gym equipment for most of my adult life. I have a body that most twenty year olds would love to have. I personally know the importance of staying fit and adding years to my life span. I commend you for all your goals and achievements Jack!

Hi Jack!
You are a real living example of healthy long living. I dream of becoming a centenarian because of the benchmark you set for this generation.

Dear Jack, Elaine, and Chris
My husband and I are out of shape, baby boomers. (but not for long, now that we have found your site)
We have four physically fit grown sons in their 30s who all admire you.
So we have a lot of catching up to do.
I was glad to hear that you have a website and a blog, and are still as much a hero, as you were to us in our youth.
A big thank you from our whole family, including grandaughter Jessica who has recently found your website.
