Last year at the IDEA World Fitness Convention Elaine accepted an award to Jack LaLanne who had inspired the world to fitness. At the end of her acceptance speech for Jack out of the blue she said “I may be 85, but I can still do pushups” she proceeded to drop down and do a number of man style pushups. This year at the the IDEA World Fitness Convention, she was asked to do more pushups now at 86, to begin her introduction of Jane Fonda, she did six. Later on as you can see below, she did ten more. Accolades go to Kathy and Peter Davis who are the backbone and spine of IDEA, they are to be congratulated on 30 years of hard work, perseverance and determination to bring this to such a successful 30th anniversary with over 21,000 members and 6,000 people at this last weekend.

Jane has 23 home exercise videos, 13 audio recordings, 5 books selling a total of 16 million copies promoting healthy living.

Elaine and Dr. Pam Peeke keynote speaker, doing pushups during the IDEA Convention in San Diego this last weekend. Dr. Peeke asked Elaine to do a few more pushups with her, after Elaine already had done six “man” style pushups. They did ten during the time this photo was taken.
